You’ll have studied these before – but not like this. If you didn’t get the grades you needed the first time around (or if this is your first time around) you’ll get lots of support, you’ll work in small groups and you’ll surprise yourself with just how much you’re able to achieve.
Certificates and Diplomas
At SOFEA, the people we support are building qualifications that they can use in our Purpose Projects. They could help them get a job too. We offer a Learning, Employability and Progression Qualification from EL3 to Level 2.
Extras
If you want to go into warehousing and storage/logistics we can also offer specialist training:

- Manual Handling
Life
We believe that getting ready for work is one ingredient for a successful future, but there’s more to life than that, so we also run:
- Functional fitness classes with an MMA champion
- Arts and creative media workshops
- Personal development programmes
- Trips and visits
How will this work for you?
Everything is tailored to you – so you won’t cover everything in the list above. Usually a programme will include Maths, English, a certificate and/or real work experience.
Whatever your ability and however you learn best, you’ll find there’s a programme that’s perfect for you and designed to fit your needs, ability and any previous qualifications you may have. Programmes usually run for three days per week.
Will I pass?
90% of the people who learn with us do. So if traditional education hasn’t worked for you, there’s a good chance that SOFEA will.
