How can £3.50 give you £15 of food plus so much more?
Here’s how your weekly membership works!
What is a community larder?
We’re not a foodbank. We look like your local food store. And to many of our customers, we’re much, much more.
Can you help us?
FareShare provides much of our food. The Co-op has supported us by fitting out one of our larders. Local authorities support us by paying for some of our customers’ memberships. And we’re always eager to work with more partners who can use or support our services.
Bringing our community together
Right now, there are people in our community who want more from their regular shop than food and efficiency. They want a chat. They want to feel part of something. They want practical help and advice, or perhaps just someone to check they’re OK. And yes, the savings they make from their membership helps too.
Supermarkets aren’t designed to do all that. But your local SOFEA community larder is. Find out more about us or better still, come and visit us.
Volunteer with us
It takes a lot to keep our larders well-stocked and our customers well served. Every one of our volunteers makes an enormous difference. Could you join them?
