From our bases in Milton Keynes and Didcot we work directly with over 600 people each year (mostly young people), providing an innovative approach to wellbeing, employability and education for some of the most disadvantaged in our community. We work in partnership with Schools, Health, the Police and Social Services to find people whose lives we help transform.
Our food distribution operation is the main context for the above programmes, and is almost entirely staffed by young people who have graduated from these programmes. We employ 30 young people, who had faced serious barriers to their employment through this route, including warehouse supervisors, administrative staff, IT support and peer mentors.
Through the distribution of 1,500 tonnes of surplus food each year (working in partnership with FareShare) we reach many communities across the Thames Valley and South Midlands, working in partnership with nearly 200 other organisations to not only ensure that people in need receive food, but to use the convening power of food as a catalyst to enable people to transform their lives.

Our Board of Trustees is a voluntary board and meets formally six times a year (the majority online) and the expectation is that Trustees attend these meeting and either join one of the Board’s Committees or act as a Link Trustee for part of the organisation.
