Following a diverse and rewarding career in teaching, I founded SOFEA in order to give vulnerable youngsters educational and occupational opportunities they may not have been afforded otherwise. Our unique approach gives our young people a sense of purpose and meaning, allowing them to flourish both academically and professionally.

In the pandemic, I started refurbishing laptops to distribute to people who weren’t online. I helped Asylum Welcome set up their laptop refurbishment scheme for Refugees and was introduced by them to SOFEA.
