“I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you at SOFEA for the excellent service that you all provide us with. The whole setup is amazing and deserves to be recommended highly. The customer service you all play a part in is rare elsewhere and very impressive. It’s great to be able to pick up the phone and discuss ordering with you or anyone at the warehouse knowing that you will almost do your utmost to help me out. We are now more freely able to feed children who at times come to school with no breakfast and who may not have eaten since 5pm the night before. There are financial hardship cases even in this day and age. These children can be malnourished through no fault of their own and we are now able to provide them with nutritious food which contributes to their ability to concentrate in class and not fall off to sleep! It will send them in good stead for now and in the future.

We also use some food you provide us with for cookery lesions. This enables every child in school to learn to cook basic nutritious dishes and develop their skills and confidence. They will carry those skills with them even when they go to University! Once again a big thank you to you all not forgetting the cheerful delivery team who provide an outstanding service. We just wanted to let you know how much we are benefitting from using your wonderful service. Everyone we have been in contact with at SOFEA, either from visiting the warehouse, talking on the telephone or receiving our deliveries has been really helpful, friendly and cheerful, it is truly delightful to be involved with your organisation.

Receiving the cycle count a few hours before taking our order is great as it gives all of the staff the opportunity to look at the count, check our stock of food, look at our menus and decide which items we are going to be able to order. It also gives the use by dates which mean we can take time to plan for the following week based on which food items you have in stock and what we need.

The process of having our order taken on the telephone and then the delivery is seamless, everyone appears to work really well together and delivers a great service to us at all times.

Although we have only been using the service for a month we can already see the impact it is having on lowering our food budget without lowering the standard and volume of food that we are able to provide for our children, in fact in some cases it has risen the bar in respect of what we have been able to offer.
